Your prenatal therapist will prepare the massage table with a pillow specifically designed for you and your growing belly. This will allow you to comfortably lie face down or, if preferred, side lying. Some of the amazing benefits of prenatal massage include relief from aches and pains, reduced stress and anxiety, improved sleep, and enhanced circulation, just to name a few! Pre & Post Care Info
Please wear comfortable clothing to your appointment. Your therapist will step out of the room to allow you to undress to your comfort level and get settled under the sheets. You will always be properly draped throughout the service. During your massage, your therapist will check in about pressure to ensure it feels just right. This is your time to relax, so please feel free to communicate if you would like more or less pressure at any point, we are happy to adjust. For your first visit, we kindly ask that you arrive 5-10 minutes early to complete new client paperwork and allow time for a brief consultation. All massage durations are based on hands-on time with your therapist. We do not deduct time for consultation or dressing, so the time scheduled is the full time you will receive. We will do our best to accommodate up to 10 minutes of lateness while still providing your full service time. Each massage is fully customized to meet your individual needs. Every massage at Remedy Spa includes warm towels, aromatherapy, and a heated eye pillow to enhance your relaxation experience.
After your massage, it’s important to drink plenty of water to help flush out toxins and support your body’s natural recovery process. You may feel deeply relaxed, slightly sore, or even a little tired, all of which are completely normal responses as your muscles adjust and release tension. We recommend taking it easy for the rest of the day, avoiding intense workouts, heavy lifting, or alcohol if possible. Gentle stretching, a warm Epsom salt bath, or a relaxing evening at home will help extend the benefits of your session.
